Celestial Soirée to Celebrate Art, Hope & Healing
A Star-Lit Evening Benefiting the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation
Highlights Include Live Art Creation and a Spectacular Auction Featuring Works by Artists Who Are Cancer Survivors
Bradenton, Fla., January 9, 2026 — Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation invites the community to Celestial Soirée, an inspiring evening honoring the creativity and courage of artist survivors, whose work and stories illuminate the path of hope for those facing cancer. The gala will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 6:00 – 10:30 PM at the Art Ovation Hotel, 1255 N. Palm Ave., Sarasota, FL. Tickets are $325 per person or $3,000 for a table of ten.
Celestial Soirée will feature a brilliant blend of art, music, dining, and celebration, all supporting the Foundation’s mission to provide non-medical financial assistance to local cancer patients undergoing treatment in Florida.
Honorary Chairs for the event are Miguel Pelayo, MD, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, and Teresa Pelayo, APRN, Owner and Medical Provider of The Guided Body. Event Chairs are Kim Becker, Brian D. Jellison Cancer Institute at Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System, and Jill DeSimone, Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation Board Member. The evening will be emceed by Judy Pearson, an award-winning biographer and cancer survivor.
Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception with live music by Cal Morris, an acclaimed violinist and blood cancer survivor. Cal spent 107 days in the hospital following a bone marrow transplant and when he returned home, his heart was filled with music he now happily shares in his street performances in Tarpon Springs. There will also be opportunities to view live art creation and participate in a curated silent auction featuring exceptional works from local artist survivors. A seated dinner, program, and exhilarating live auction will follow, culminating in dancing under the stars with The Bay Kings Band.
A dazzling highpoint of the night is the Luxury Getaway Chance Drawing for a six-night trip for two to France, including three nights in a 4-star Paris hotel, three nights in a Chateau in the Champagne region, daily breakfast, a Seine River gourmet dinner cruise, a private full-day Champagne tour with transportation, lunch at a local restaurant, a visit to the Abbey of Dom Pérignon, concierge services, and all room-related taxes (airfare not included). Chance Drawing Tickets: $25 for 1 | $50 for 3 | $100 for 7.
