Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation Launches “Nourish Hope” to Combat Food Insecurity Among Cancer Patients
Bradenton, Fla., March 3, 2026 — Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Foundation is proud to announce the launch of “Nourish Hope,” a new food program designed to address the growing crisis of food insecurity among adult cancer patients and their families in Florida. Nourish Hope will provide grocery gift cards to all eligible patients, helping them access nutritious food during their cancer treatment journey.
“Nutrition is a critical component of cancer care,” said Lynn Rasys, Executive Director of the FCS Foundation. “Through Nourish Hope, we aim to make it easier to have nutritious food so patients and their families can focus on healing.”
The program will distribute a minimum of $100 Publix grocery gift cards to qualified recipients across the state.
Nourish Hope is made possible through the generous contributions from Floridian donors. The Foundation is actively seeking additional support from philanthropic organizations, volunteer groups, and corporate sponsors to expand the program’s reach.
