Saddle Up for “Lasso the Night” Benefiting Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation
Western-Themed Event in The Villages Includes Spectacular Chance Drawing For a Stay at the White Stallion Ranch in Tucson, AZ
Bradenton, Fla., March 12, 2025 — “Lasso the Night,” a fun, Western-themed event benefiting Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Foundation, rides into The Villages on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the elegant Brownwood Hotel & Spa, 3003 Brownwood Blvd., The Villages, Florida. The rootin’-tootin’ evening promises a full lineup of Western-inspired fun, including live music, line dancing, ranch-inspired cuisine, and exciting auction items. Attendees are encouraged to embrace their inner cowpoke by donning their best Western attire and joining the community in making a difference for local cancer patients and their families.
Leading the charge as Honorary Chairs are Patrick Acevedo, MD, Adewale Fawole, MD and Sachin Kamath, MD—dedicated oncologists from the Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) network. In a joint statement, the physicians said, “Every day, we witness the physical, emotional, and financial toll cancer takes on our patients. The FCS Foundation provides critical financial relief, allowing patients the peace of mind to focus on healing rather than worrying about unpaid bills.”
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Noah Hunton, an Ocala, FL native, who will delight guests with his country music vocals and expert guitar playing, bringing an authentic Western ambiance to the event.
Adding to the excitement, guests will have the opportunity to enter a spectacular Chance Drawing—and one lucky guest will ride off into the sunset with an incredible grand prize—a luxurious five-day, four-night getaway at the legendary White Stallion Ranch in Tucson, AZ. The winner will enjoy deluxe accommodations, gourmet dining, and thrilling activities like horseback riding, target shooting, rock climbing, and archery.
Lynn Rasys, Executive Director of the Foundation, said, “We’re inviting everyone to dust off their boots, shine their belt buckles and join us on April 26, 2025 for this very special evening, which is the first fundraiser we have held in The Villages. The event will help raise much-needed financial assistance for cancer patients in the local community.”
Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation provides critical financial assistance to cancer patients, helping them cover non-medical living expenses, such as rent, utilities, and transportation while they undergo treatment. By attending “Lasso the Night,” guests will directly support the Foundation’s mission of offering hope and stability to those battling cancer.
