Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation Hosts Sunday Table Farm Event

Ocala, FL – January 28th, 2019…  The Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Foundation is pleased to announce that the first Sunday Table Farm event hosted by co-chairs, Dr. & Mrs. Patrick Acevedo, including honorary chairs and FCS Physicians, Drs. Shilpa OberoiVipul Patel and Craig Reynolds and will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Sunday Table Farm located at 2605 Southwest 66th Street, Ocala, Florida, 34476.

This sold-out event will feature FCS Physician, Dr. Patrick Acevedo’s organic farm with a farm-to-table experience, entertainment, auctions and more. Guests are encouraged to wear country chic attire that includes; jeans, boots and fancy tops. All proceeds will benefit the FCS Foundation, which provides financial assistance for non-medical living expenses to qualified cancer patients who are currently undergoing treatment in Florida. The FCS Foundation’s overhead is paid by the physician partners at Florida Cancer Specialists so that 100% of donations (net of event expenses) can benefit cancer patients in need.

FCS Foundation Board Member & FCS Physician, Maen Hussein, shared, “As an FCS Foundation Board Member and Oncologist, it is an honor to be part of a non-profit where 100% of all donations go to help cancer patients in need. I am very excited to attend the first farm-to-table fundraiser event at FCS Physician’s home, Dr. Patrick Acevedo.”

Dr. Patrick Acevedo, stated, “We are ecstatic to host the first farm-to-table event at our farm in Ocala, Florida. As an oncologist, I see firsthand how much the FCS Foundation benefits cancer patients in Florida with non-medical expenses, and I am proud to assist in raising funds for this cause.”

Honorary Chairs and FCS Physicians, Drs. Shilpa OberoiVipul Patel and Craig Reynolds, stated, “We are delighted to be named honorary chairs of this unique event in Ocala, which will directly benefit cancer patients and their families.”
