CURRENT OPEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Client Communication Specialist – Assisting with answering the Foundation phone and documenting voicemail messages. Returning voicemails and making follow-up calls to assist with answering questions regarding grant application and process. Spanish speaking volunteers a plus, but not required.
Client Documentation Specialist – Responsible for uploading patient documents received via Foundation inbox and faxes to patient’s grant application in online system. Experience with Adobe Acrobat desired.
Client Application Specialist – Reviewing patient grant applications in the Client Services Online Database. Evaluating financial qualification criteria related to the patient grant program requirements. Communicating with patients regarding application status via email. Spanish speaking volunteers a plus, but not required.
Client Services Support Intern – Assist with processing patient grant applications and documentation to determine eligibility to receive non-medical financial assistance from the Foundation. The Client Services Support intern will also be responsible for assisting patients with the application process over the phone and data entry. The time commitment is at least 12 hours a week, preferably 20 hours a week, for at least 3 months. Must receive college credit.
Special Event Committee Members – Naples, Sarasota and Tampa area. Day-of planning and preparation for Foundation events, including assistance with set up, registration and clean up. Pre-event opportunities include joining event committees, soliciting donations for event auctions, obtaining prospective sponsors and preparing event decorations.
